What is the Predictive Index?

The Predictive Index is a powerful, science-backed tool that helps organizations understand how their people work best. It focuses on four key behavioral factors that reveal what drives and motivates each person.

Dominance

The degree to which a person seeks to assert control and drive initiatives. People with higher dominance often step forward to lead and set direction, while people with lower dominance tend to collaborate closely and prefer shared decision-making.

Extraversion

The degree to which a person prefers social interaction. People with higher extraversion are typically outgoing and energized by being around others, while people with lower extraversion often feel more comfortable in quieter settings or working independently.

Patience

The degree to which a person prefers stability and consistency. People with higher patience like a steady, predictable pace and are willing to stick with things over time, while people with lower patience prefer fast-moving environments and variety in their work.

Formality

The degree to which a person needs structure and rules. People with higher formality value clear guidelines and precision, while people with lower formality are more flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
